Four injured in road accident

Four people were taken to hospital following a head-on collision involving two cars.

The accident happened shortly before 10pm at the junction of Garrison Lane and High Road West in Felixstowe.

The accident happened shortly before 10pm at the junction of Garrison Lane and High Road West in Felixstowe.

Fire crews were called to free a trapped passenger from one of the vehicles, who was taken to Ipswich Hospital for treatment, along with three other people involved in the accident.

A spokesman for Suffolk police said none of the people had been seriously injured and added minor diversions had been put in place while officers cleared the road.
