Police in Suffolk shut one lane of the A14 this evening after a car hit the central reservation and overturned.
Officers were called to the westbound carriageway shortly before 9pm to reports a car had overturned in the inside lane.
Paramedics were also sent to the scene but the four people inside the car managed to get out.
A police spokeswoman said the patients were described as walking wounded and escaped serious injury.
One lane was closed for over an hour while Highways England engineers assessed damage to the central barriers.
The spokeswoman added: “We were called to the A14 westbound between Levington and Bucklesham at approximately 8.55pm to reports a vehicle had overturned.
“The car, which had four people inside, hit the central reservation and turned over.
“We put a lane closure in force while the incident was dealt with by our officers and this had been lifted by about 10.10pm.”
