Four people, including two children, have been taken to hospital following a collision between a car and pedestrians in Orchard Street, Ipswich, this morning.
Police were called to the incident on the town centre one way system, off Woodbridge Road, just after 9.35am.
The accident involved a car and three pedestrians.
Two ambulances and an ambulance officer attended and treated two women in their 30s and two children at the scene.
They have all been taken to Ipswich hospital for further care, with injuries not thought to be life-threatening.
The incident caused severe congestion on Woodbridge Road eastbound on the one way system between Major’s Corner and Orchard Street.
