Police are at the scene of a four vehicle collision in Ipswich

Emergency services are currently at the scene of a four vehicle crash on Norwich Road in Ipswich.

Police were called at 8.31am to the junction of Norwich Road and Springfield Lane to the collision involving two Ford Fiesta cars, a Volkswagen Golf and a Renault Megane.

A police spokeswoman said there were no reports of serious injuries.

She said traffic was using the bus lane to get around the incident and that there were some queues as a result.

A spokesman for the fire service said a fire crew from Princes Street in Ipswich attended the scene although it was only there for around ten minutes before returning to base.
