France: Carla Bruni has given birth to a baby girl - the first child born to a sitting president of France, French media has reported.
Reports claim that Bruni, who is married to French president Nicolas Sarkozy, gave birth at around 8pm after being admitted earlier in the day to the La Muette maternity clinic in central Paris.
