The eighth annual One Big Multicultural Festival will see acts from around the world – including West Africa, China and India – perform in front of a crowd expected to top 8,000 people.

BBC Radio Suffolk presenter Wayne Bavin will again be hosting the free, family-friendly festival which is organised by the Bangladeshi Support Centre.

There will be food, music, dance and sport at the family-friendly event.

Joyita Chowdhury, a regular on Bangladeshi TV channels and Radio Rajasthan, will be performing both Bengali and Indian music.

Other entertainment includes the Heritage Brass Band and singer, Shorif, who has appeared in UK talent shows. Kodjovi Kush and the Afrospot All Stars will be bringing the joyous sounds of Highlife. The action starts at noon and finishes at 6pm.
