IPSWICH: Travellers can get from A to B and do their bit for charity thanks to a special fundraiser, today.

Ipswich Cabs will not be charging passengers but instead ask them to dig deep and donate to St Elizabeth's Hospice and East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH).

Ian Fountain, general manager of Ipswich Cabs, said: “People can donate as little or as much as they want - there will be no pressure to donate huge amounts. The key thing we want is for people to use our company - even if only during the free cab day to raise money for the charities.”

St Elizabeth's Hospice aims to improve the quality of life for adults with life-limiting conditions.

EACH provides care and support for life-threatened children and their families in their own homes, as well as at the charity's hospices based in Ipswich, Quidenham in Norfolk, and Milton in Cambridge.
