FIVE directors of a Suffolk freight transport business that failed with debts of more than £662,000 have been disqualified from acting as company directors for a combined period of 29 years.
FIVE directors of a Suffolk freight transport business that failed with debts of more than £662,000 have been disqualified from acting as company directors for a combined period of 29 years.
Michael Hearne, 55, Christine Hearne, 52 and Zoe Hearne, 31, all of Brook Lane, Framlingham Suffolk, and Chad Hearne, 34, and Siobhan Duggan, 31, were all directors of Reads Distribution Ltd, which was based at Transport Depot, London Road, Capel St Mary.
Mr M Hearne, Mrs C Hearne and Ms Z Hearne were disqualified for ten, five and four years respectively. Mr C Hearne and Ms Duggan were disqualified for six and four years respectively.
Reads was placed into voluntary liquidation on 22 March 2002 with estimated debts of £662,749.
The Disqualification Order prevents the five people from being directors of a company or in any way being concerned in or taking part in the promotion, formation or management of a company.
