AN application by Broomhill Pool Trust for cash from the Heritage Lottery Fund has been rejected.
The trust wanted funding to save Suffolk and Norfolk's only grade 2 listed lido which has been closed for several years.
Despite the backing of a detailed £67,000 feasibility study and seven months of professional bid preparation, East of England Regional Committee has declined the £1.99m bid application. HLF staff will meet with the Trust to outline their reasons for rejection in due course.
