CAMPAIGNERS were furious today after health chiefs confirmed that one of Suffolk's best-loved community hospitals will close this year - despite overwhelming opposition from the public.
Roy Gray, chairman of the Save Our Felixstowe Hospitals action group, said campaigners refused to accept the resort's Bartlet Hospital should close and would fight to the bitter end to save it.
