IPSWICH: Boys and girls, some as young as seven, could be sitting down in the classroom to watch detailed sex programmes as part of their education.
And it’s hit a raw nerve with some parents who are furious that their children may be watching the DVD.
They claim it is “disturbing” and were horrified when they sat and watched it on screen.
Cliff Lane Primary is looking to follow other schools by introducing it into a new national curriculum aimed at reducing teenage pregnancy.
Mums Kara Munday and Emma O’Brien say they would be terrified of leaving their children alone together in case they experimented with each other.
But the school has said that it wants to be “open and honest” about the sensitive issue and are aware that some parents have strong views.
