TENS of thousands of protestors are to take part in rallies and marches in London starting from today to coincide with the G20 summit in London.The first event will begin today with a march for “jobs, justice and climate” organised by more than 150 unions, environment, charity, faith and development groups.
TENS of thousands of protestors are to take part in rallies and marches in London starting from today to coincide with the G20 summit in London.
The first event will begin today with a march for “jobs, justice and climate” organised by more than 150 unions, environment, charity, faith and development groups.
There will be calls for action to save jobs, support a low-carbon economy and stricter controls of the finance sector at today's rally at Hyde Park.
There are also plans for actions against "wasted energy'' in London office blocks over this weekend.
