From the calm before the storm to the disaster left in its wake, our iwitnesses answered our rallying call to help us chart the progress of St Jude’s storm.
Our latest iwitness gallery, see top right, shows the calm before the storm in Southwold, shot by Frances Crickmore.
Later in the day, Frances photographed surfers riding the waves near the pier.
Chris Phillips shared his photos of the frothing sea at Felixstowe during the course of the storm.
While Cheryl Runnacles shared damage caused by the storm in Cransford. John Robertson photographed an old oak tree felled in Great Holland and Colin Watling had a UFO - or rather a trampoline - land in his garden during the storm.
Cheryl Runnacles also submitted photos of the great sunrise of this morning, the peaceful scene belies the havoc seen earlier this week.
