BULLDOZERS are today at work at the site of the town’s new Tesco store.
Work has started on the demolition of the old B&Q store at Grafton Way, Ipswich.
The front section of the store has now been reduced to a pile of rubble, as seen in our gallery, and the rest of the building will be flattened within days.
However, as previously reported, there is a delay with the replacement buildings with the planning application not due to be debated until the start of 2013.
Will we have a new Tesco before the end of 2013? Or will this saga rumble on for years to come? Register and leave your comments below.
