Former Ipswich Town footballer Jimmy Bullard will be in this year’s I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, according to reports.

The ITV jungle show returns on Sunday with a new line-up of celebrities, and the former Blues midfielder has reportedly been pictured arriving in Australia to take part.

An ITV spokesman said: “Any stories about contestants going in the jungle are speculative and we don’t comment on them. The line-up for this year’s series will be issued later this week.”

In total, Bullard made 37 appearances for Town. The 36-year-old joined on loan in January 2011, scoring on his debut before winning the Supporters’ Player of the Year award, despite only being with the club for three months.

He was signed to a permanent deal for the 2011/12 season before being released in August 2012.

Also rumoured taking part in the hit jungle show, hosted by Ant and Dec, this year are Allo Allo! actress Vicki Michelle and former motorcycle world champion Carl Fogarty.

Bullard would join them in facing spiders, snakes and cockroaches in the bushtucker trials.
