A weekly parent and baby group has been celebrating Halloween in style.

More than 150 mums and babies wore creative costumes in class.

The East Suffolk branch of Lazy Daisy entered into the spirit of the occasion with members of their Ipswich and Woodbridge classes taking part in singing and active sessions to help the growth and development of their children.

Daisy Baby classes combine music, rhythm, massage, sensorial stimulation and soft-stretching yoga activities to help babies develop their balance and co-ordination, and turn involuntary movements or reflexes into controlled exercise.

The class aims to create a safe, nurturing environment in which babies can develop, as well as establishing a community where parents can share ideas, socialise, and feel confident about their parenting skills.

Classes in Suffolk take place across Ipswich, Woodbridge, Martlesham, Kesgrave and Hintlesham.

Founded in Suffolk 10 years ago, Lazy Daisy is now an international organisation, which has more than 200 teachers located across the UK, Australia, France, Cyprus and Malta.

Lazy Daisy enables parents to develop a network with their peers, and engage in a support network for parents throughout their child’s development, with a series of educational and holistic classes.

Classes cater for babies and toddlers from birth to the age of five, and are run by teachers registered with the Federation of Antenatal Educators.
