Cuddly teddies have been making an appearance at desks across Ipswich as workers do their bit for Children in Need 2015.
Live Well Suffolk has played host to a variety of exotic species, including a turtle, panda and koala bear at its office in Turret Lane. Steven Lee-Foster, director of Live Well Suffolk, said: “At Live Well Suffolk we are pleased to be able to do our bit to support the annual campaign and wish everyone who is fundraising this year the best of luck in their efforts.”
Children in Need has funded a number of important projects in Suffolk, including teamIpswich Swimming, which provides swimming lessons for disabled children, and the Suffolk Young People’s Health Project, also known as 4YP.
Staff at hearing care specialist, The Hearing Care Centre, have also had fluffy friends for company during their shifts.
Teddies have been pictured carrying out tasks such as answering the phone, having hearing tests and having their ears checked by an audiologist throughout the practice in Upper Brook Street.
Karen Finch, managing director of The Hearing Care Centre, said: “We got involved in this initiative for a bit of fun, but most importantly it’s a great way raising money and doing our bit for Children in Need.”
The team also came in early for bacon butties, cooked by the boss Karen Finch, raising even more money for the charity.
