A boat, which is 5.2m wide, 5.9m high, 24.8m long and weighs 59000kgs, was towed from Cambridgeshire to Ipswich Haven Marina.
Motorists in Suffolk faced delays today when police escorted a large boat from Cambridgeshire to Ipswich’s Waterfront.
The vessel was guided by police from the Cambridgeshire border to Ipswich Haven Marina, travelling along the A14 before passing through Needham Market, Great Blakenham and Sproughton.
It left at 9am and arrived shortly before midday.
The boat measured 5.2m wide, 5.9m high and 24.8m long. It weighed 59,000kgs.
