Thousands of people descended on Ipswich’s Trinity Park at the weekend for an event filled with displays, demonstrations and plenty of food and drink.

Despite the dreary conditions, the showground came alive thanks to a series of attractions at the Robin Hood Game and Country Show.

Among them were jousting displays, the chance to meet a family of alpacas and onlookers also got to see falcons in flight.

Those who attended the event on Saturday and yesterday also got the opportunity to bring their canine friends along for a series of fun dog shows.

There was also something for food and drink lovers throughout the weekend as producers from across the county showcased their goods to the public.
