GRUNDISBURGH gardens are coming out of hiding at the weekend for charity open days.

The record-breaking annual event will have up to 30 gardens giving a floral display and several people opening their gates for the first time.

But it will be their last chance for Bob and Marianne More to unveil their garden at Hill House in Woodbridge Road, before they leave for Lakenheath after 41 years in the village.

The event is organised by Grundisburgh, Burgh and Culpho Horticultural Society and a record number of gardens are expected to take part in the open weekend, from 2pm to 6pm, Saturday and Sunday.

Money raised will be shared between the Lupus Society, Age Concern Suffolk's respite care appeal and Grundisburgh's community play scheme.
