AFTER a hard night delivering gifts to children all over the world Father Christmas still found time to pay an early morning visit to residents of a Suffolk village.

AFTER a hard night delivering gifts to children all over the world Father Christmas still found time to pay an early morning visit to residents of a Suffolk village.

Clad in his red cloak and wellington boots he cut a striking figure as a wandered down the streets of Holbrook on the Shotley peninsula.

Labouring under a bulging sack of presents Santa had only a moment to wave to our photographer before heading off for the real purpose of his visit – gift giving.

With a distinct lack of chimneys in the area he took a more conventional approach to delivery, knocking at homes across the village to hand out brightly wrapped presents to scores of delighted children.
