A TEENAGER was accosted by a man while travelling on a bus.

The incident happened in Fred Archer Way in Newmarket between 7.50pm and 8.10pm yesterday.

Police say the 13-year-old girl was spoken to inappropriately by a man who then took hold of her hand.

The girl then got off the bus and he stayed on.

It is believed the man then alighted outside Argos and walked through the Guineas before approaching a second girl, aged 14 who was sitting on a seat.

Police say he put his hand on her shoulder and spoke inappropriately to her. She walked off.

The man is described as being of Middle Eastern appearance, in his late 30s, with dark, balding hair which was curly round the sides. He wore glasses, a blue jacket, baggy jeans and was holding a blue hat.
