POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a young girl was hit with a glass bottle in Dukes Genesis Nightclub in Chelmsford.
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a young girl was hit with a glass bottle in Dukes Genesis Nightclub in Chelmsford.
The 17-year-old girl was sitting inside the smoking area of the nightclub around 2am on Saturday, January 30, when she was approached by a woman who hit her over the head with a glass bottle.
The teenager was taken to Broomfield Hospital suffering from concussion.
The woman is described as white, around 20 years old with long, brown hair, around 5ft 5ins tall of slim build. She was wearing a creamy white, sleeveless top with a black bow on it and black shorts or a skirt.
Officers are keen to speak to a man who was speaking to the victim before the unprovoked attack.
The man was not known to the girl and police believe he may have some information about the female suspect.
