Girl hurt in road accident

A nine-year-old girl was taken to hospital after she was involved in a collision with a car on Bramford Road in Ipswich.

The girl, who sustained bruising to her foot, told an ambulance crew at the scene of the crash, shortly after 2pm yesterday, that she had been running away from a dog at the time.

n ONE person received minor injuries today in an accident on the B1456 at Chelmondiston.

The accident, which took place at 8.20am, involved a tractor and a van.

The injured person was treated at the scene.
