HEARTBROKEN Vici Gaecke thought her pain couldn't get any worse.
But today, still reeling from the “slap on the wrist” given to the unlicensed teenager who drove the car which crashed on the A14 and led to the death of her daughter, the grieving Ipswich mum has been left infuriated after another driver who was caught up in the crash received a tougher penalty.
Ms Gaecke described the fine handed to Peter Brooks, who was unable to avoid the car carrying 15-year-old Sarah after it flipped over and blocked part of the road, as “insanity” after he was fined more than Samuel Clements, whose car had caused the accident.
She said: “I can't believe it. The justice system is a complete shambles.”
