Newmarket Racecourses have announced the first three acts of their seven Newmarket Nights Series for 2009.
Status Quo will perform on the July 24, Simply Red will appear on the July 31, and Scouting For Girls will make their Newmarket debut on the August 7.
Stephen Wallis, managing director of Newmarket Racecourse said: “It's great to be announcing three of the seven acts for this year's Newmarket Nights series so early.
“Each of the acts confirmed offers something different and I am sure each one will entertain the Newmarket Nights audience.
“We are hoping to be able to announce the final four acts within the next few weeks but I am certain it's going to be another amazing year for Newmarket Nights.”
