The Ipswich Society’s headquarters at Mutual House will be open as part of this weekend’s Heritage Open Days.
The organisation helps lay on the weekend each year, where more than 30 buildings in town are opened up to the public to have a look around.
Among the popular places lined up this year are the Willis Building, New Wolsey Theatre, Crown Pools, and now Mutual House.
Ipswich Society chairman John Norman said: “The Ipswich Society is delighted to confirm that Mutual House, the new town centre branch of the Ipswich Society, will be open as part of this year’s Heritage Open Days.
“The contractor has pulled out all of the stops to clear the banking hall ready for visitors.
“Building Society staff will, in addition lead guided tours of the basement strongrooms, from the days when the building was Parrs Bank.”
