A NAKED gunman is today awaiting sentence after a jury decided he deliberately threatened police with an air rifle.
Mark McCormic, 34, who had been living in a caravan parked in a car park off Fen Lane, Beccles, calimed he thought the two police officers were burglars when he heard them outside his van.
But jurors at Ipswich Crown Court convicted McCormic of possessing a firearm with intent to cause the officers fear of immediate, unlawful violence.
The case was adjourned until August 12 for pre-sentence reports and medical examinations.
