WITH just a handful of tables left, Ipswich and Suffolk Press Ball organisers today predicted a sell-out event raising thousands for charity.

The glittering night, held on June 19 at the sumptuous Hotel Elizabeth, Copdock, has attracted the cream of Suffolk society including a number of high profile businesses and organisations determined not to miss out on the dazzling night of nights.

Bridget York, creative director of top London events firm Entire Affair, said: “We have been inundated with requests for tickets from organisations determined to do their bit for the Press Ball's chosen charity.

“As excitement grows around the event the interest has grown and now we only have a handful of tables left available.”

Companies who have already booked their places include Ipswich-based Call Connection, EDF Energy and SnOasis - the event's main VIP sponsors.

Graeme Kalbraier, managing director of Call Connection, said: “I have been coming to the Ipswich and Suffolk Press Ball for a number of years and it is always a fantastic evening.

“The event also raises much-needed cash for Cystic Fibrosis Trust, a charity which deserves our support on this most special of evenings.”

The fundraising Ipswich and Suffolk Press Ball will include music, dancing, fine food and wines followed by an auction and tombola with prizes donated by businesses and organisations.

Headline acts will include rock legend and soul sensation Ray Lewis of The Drifters fame who will perform at the Soul Ball themed night of nights.

Tables have also been snapped up by well-known Suffolk names such as Suffolk New College and Ipswich Building Society.

Other tables have been taken by organisations and firms including Westbrooks, Axa, Ipswich Wines and Beers Ltd, Reed Mackay, and Ipswich Central.

Ipswich and Suffolk Press Ball organisers are today offering the chance for the business community to offer their help to raise cash for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

If your business or organisation would like to donate a raffle or auction prize or come along to the event please contact Bridget York on 0208 429 7530.
