If it's June it must be jubilee time – but it's not just the Queen who will be celebrating. The award-winning Co-op Juniors will have two very special reasons to revel in the spotlight.
Between June 5 and June 8, the Juniors will take over the Ipswich Regent with their Jubilee Showtime – an extravaganza of dance, music and a few surprises.
Like the Queen, the Juniors also have a special anniversary to celebrate as this year they are officially 60 years old.
During the next four weeks, The Evening Star will be previewing the big show with stories from behind the scenes.
Show producer Pauline Walker said this year's show promised to be something really special.

She said: "We'll be looking back at 60 years of the Juniors with a show packed with a mixture of old and new numbers, old and new routines and something a little extra.
"There will also be some modern numbers from the 1960s to the 1990s, traditional and popular music and some new ideas such as monologues.
"There should be something for everybody as the current Juniors will be performing material from the last 60 years."
There will be five perform-ances of the show in total – at 7.15pm between Wednesday June 5 and Saturday June 8, plus a Saturday afternoon show at 2.30pm.
Tickets are priced at £8 and £9 for adults, £7.50 and £6.50 for children and on Wednesday June 5, senior citizens can get in for the price of a child.
