SUFFOLK Coastal residents are being asked to go online and help shape a new action plan that will identify the main priorities for their health services.
The Suffolk Coastal Primary Care Trust (PCT) and Suffolk Coastal District Council are developing a health improvement and modernisation plan that reflects the needs of people living and working in the district.
Details of the plan were contained in the summer edition of the council's newspaper, CoastLine, and now visitors to the council's website can give their comments online.
Cllr Patricia O'Brien, cabinet member for health and safety and member of the PCT board, said: "We would like to hear the views of residents regarding what could be done locally to enable people to enjoy healthier lives and give support to those who cannot manage without help."
The details can be found on the council's website at www.suffolkcoastal.gov.uk/envhealth/himpconsultation.html.
A consultation paper has been distributed to libraries, GP surgeries, clinics and council offices. Copies can be obtained by calling Sharon Jarrett at the Suffolk Coastal PCT on 01394 458900 or the council on 01394 444697.
