A HARRIS hawk has gone missing.Suffolk police are asking for the publics help in tracing the lost bird of prey which was last seen around 8.30pm yesterday, in Newton Road, Stowmarket.
A HARRIS hawk has gone missing.
Suffolk police are asking for the publics help in tracing the lost bird of prey which was last seen around 8.30pm yesterday, in Newton Road, Stowmarket.
The bird is called Blitz and is one and a half years old. He is described as dark brown with white tail feathers and has a two and a half foot wingspan. He also has two leather jess, a bell and a blue identification ring on his legs.
According to the owner the bird could target small dogs, cats and rabbits if hungry.
Police would like to hear from anyone who has spotted the bird and would urge them to call 01284 774 100 as soon as possible.
