A WOMAN was taken to Ipswich Hospital with head injuries today after she was assaulted in the town.
Police and ambulance crews were called to Bourne Park caravan site at around 3.30pm where a 46-year-old woman had been attacked.
She was taken to Ipswich Hospital but her injuries were not thought to be serious.
A Suffolk police spokesman said: “It was a domestic assault, currently under investigation.”
