TWO people were taken to hospital after a crash in Bucklesham.
The accident, involving three vehicles, happened on the main road through the village just after 7pm yesterday.
Two fire engines and a pump rescue tender went to the scene and firefighters used heavy cutting gear and a winch to free the casualties.
They were taken to hospital by ambulance with injuries described as minor.
A fire service spokeswoman described the incident as a “head-on collision”.
The road was closed for more than two-and-a-half hours while the emergency services dealt with the crash.
