SUFFOLK: Wintry weather conditions caused commuter chaos as train services in East Anglia were disrupted by heavy levels of snow.
Both the mainline 5.30pm and 6.30pm services from Norwich to London were cancelled due to poor weather conditions as travellers battled through the Friday journey home.
The 4pm, 5pm, 5.50pm, 6.20pm, 8pm and 9.38pm services from Liverpool Street to Norwich were also scrapped.
The National Express East Anglia services in and out of London were cut to an hourly schedule during off-peak times, increasing to every half hour during the peak times.
Trains to and from Peterborough and Lowestoft were only running to Ipswich instead of Liverpool Street.
