A WORKSHOP is to be held in Ipswich, for women who suffer from a health condition that according to an expert, many GPs don't recognise.

The fourth Vulval Pain Society workshop will take place at the Novotel in Greyfriars Road, on February 23, from 11am to 3pm.

David Nunns, a gynaecologist at the Leicester Royal Infirmary started the society, which now has 700 members.

He said: "I carried out research into this neglected area of women's health in 1995, and because this area fails time again to be recognised by GPs and general gynaecologists, I set up a support and information group in 1996.

"One of our main ways of delivering support to women is to hold workshops around the country and the next one will be in Ipswich."
