A missing 86-year-old from Ipswich has been found following a public appeal.
Wilhelm Thiebes had been reported missing earlier this evening as police grew concerned for his welfare.
He had been last seen near to his home in Lanercost Way, in the Stoke Park area of Ipswich at around 12.20pm today. He had not been seen since.
Suffolk police issued an appeal for the public to help find Mr Thiebes at around 5.30pm.
By 8.30pm, police had confirmed he had been found and returned to his home.
“Officers would like to thank the media and members of the public for their assistance with this appeal,” a police spokesman said.
