POLICE today warned motorists not to leave valuable items on display inside their vehicles after a spate of car thefts in Ipswich.Officers are not ruling out a link between the three incidents, which all occurred in the Norwich Road area of town sometime between January 30 and January 31.

Officers are not ruling out a link between the three incidents, which all occurred in the Norwich Road area of town sometime between January 30 and January 31.

A Bosch jigsaw was taken from a van parked on Norwich Road sometime between 11pm on January 30 and 7pm the following day.

Thieves smashed the window of another van parked on Lister Road and made off with a petrol disc cutter. This break-in occurred sometime between 5.30pm on January 30 and 3am the following day.

In an another incident the whole glass window of a van parked along Norwich Road was removed. Thieves stole a Makita cordless jigsaw and a Boch double drill set sometime between 10pm on January 30 and 8.30am the next day.
