INTREPID workers from an Ipswich firm have scaled Britain's highest peaks in just 24 hours.The team of five walkers and a driver from ABB electrical and mechanical contractors in Portman Road, joined colleagues from the company's other offices in Sunderland, Birmingham and Manchester to complete the challenge.
INTREPID workers from an Ipswich firm have scaled Britain's highest peaks in just 24 hours.
The team of five walkers and a driver from ABB electrical and mechanical contractors in Portman Road, joined colleagues from the company's other offices in Sunderland, Birmingham and Manchester to complete the challenge.
The marathon effort by 22 people, has raised between £10,000 and £13,000 for Macmillan Nurses, a charity supported by the firm throughout the year.
Donations were invited from clients.
