Scores of buses from around the country took to the roads in and around Ipswich on Sunday to mark the start of the new season for Ipswich Transport Museum.
The museum’s bus rally was based at the car park in Portman Road with visiting vehicles from across the country taking part – buses in Sunderland and Northampton colours were taking part in the event.
Visitors could ride on one of the buses to the museum itself in Cobham Road or take a trip to Tattingstone or over the Orwell Bridge.
Organiser Richard Walker said: “We did this last year and its a good way to start the season for the museum.
“We’ve been incredibly lucky with the weather this year – a week before Easter and we could have ended with slush and whatever so to have it like this is absolutely fantastic.”
The buses ranged in age from a 1939 double-decker from Westcliff on Sea in Essex to a 2011 First Bus from Essex.
