Thelma Driver, 81, of Out Northgate, Bury St Edmunds died just hours after being hit by a vehicle in the same street she lived on December 20 last year.

A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said an inquest was due to be opened and adjourned at 2pm today in Bury St Edmunds.

Police launched an investigation following Mrs Driver's death and are still attempting to track down the driver involved.
