AN elderly man killed in a hit and run car accident today has been named by police as Ronald Baxter, from Shotley Gate.The 80-year-old, of Main Road, died when a Honda car ploughed into his Nissan Micra at the junction of Anglesea Road and Warrington Road at around 9.
AN elderly man killed in a hit and run car accident today has been named by police as Ronald Baxter, from Shotley Gate.
The 80-year-old, of Main Road, died when a Honda car ploughed into his Nissan Micra at the junction of Anglesea Road and Warrington Road at around 9.30am.
The Honda then sped off and was later found abandoned behind Cumberland Towers at the junction of Bramford Road and Norwich Road.
Two Ipswich men, aged 40 and 31, have been arrested in relation to the incident for failing to stop after a road accident.
