One lane is blocked on the M11 northbound between junction five and six, caused by a broken down vehicle.
Congestion is also expected at junction 8 on the M11 due to major roadwork's and restrictions in both directions surrounding Stansted Airport.
On the A12 at East Bergholt, one lane remains blocked after two cars were involved in an accident.
Delays are to be expected on the southbound carriageway at junction 31.
