POLICE are today searching for a prisoner who has absconded from Hollesley Bay.Chin Akin Choy - a 29-year-old Chinese national serving three years for deception and robbery - has been missing since Saturday.
POLICE are today searching for a prisoner who has absconded from Hollesley Bay.
Chin Akin Choy - a 29-year-old Chinese national serving three years for deception and robbery - has been missing since Saturday.
Choy was being held at the Suffolk prison for deportation.
He is described as having an English accent, brown eyes, dark brown hair and a tanned complexion. He is of medium build, 6ft and was wearing blue jeans and a blue and white striped shirt when he was last seen.
Choy has contacts in Bolton, Lancashire and London.
Anyone who sees him is warned not to approach him, but to contact police on 999.
People who think they have seen him, or have information about his whereabouts, should call Suffolk police on 01473 613500.
