Holton St Mary has won the right to represent Suffolk after scooping the 2005 Calor Suffolk Village of the Year award.
The event, organised by Suffolk Association of Local Councils (SALC) and sponsored by Calor, saw representatives of the village honoured at a presentation event held on October 15 at Holton St Mary village hall.
The village received a cheque from Calor for £1,000, a plaque, certificate and a cheque of £100 from Notcutts for plants.
