SCORES of residents in the region have been evacuated from their homes following a gas leak on a building site.Emergency services were called to California Road, Huntingdon, and a cordon was set up after a digger ruptured a gas pipe.

Emergency services were called to California Road, Huntingdon, and a cordon was set up after a digger ruptured a gas pipe.
Homes in several surrounding roads were evacuated and diversions were put in place.
The leak happened at around 12.36pm today.
Transco engineers and fire officers are working to tackle the incident.
