HE has already disgraced the colours of Ipswich Town, now a football hooligan has finally abandoned his appeal against a strict travel ban.

Sam Ordowski, 23, was given a two-year order preventing him from travelling to any fixture, domestic or international, in England and Wales at South East Suffolk Magistrates Court in September.

Ordowski who has previous convictions for football related disorder, was the first person to be brought before the courts in Suffolk for such a case.

Judge John Devaux, agreed to abandon the appeal after Ordowski appeared in the dock at Ipswich Crown Court, who said he no longer wished to pursue it.

In a bid to prevent a repeat of thuggish behaviour abroad, police enforced new powers allowing them to fast track his case to court to ensure Ordowski appeared for a hearing before England's crucial game against Germany in Munich, which they won 5-1.

Although Ordowski said he had no plans to travel to Germany for the game, magistrates again applied bail conditions, restricting Ordowski's movements.

He was told to surrender his passport to police and was banned from entering Ipswich town centre between 6am and 11pm on match days.

Earlier this year Ordowski was ordered to attend an anger management course after he appeared at a magistrates court in London accused of threatening to kill an off duty police officer.

Ordowski had been banned from seeing Ipswich Town for two years after a previous conviction for football-related offences and was sent to prison for two months.
