A HAVE-a-go hero from Ipswich today told how he was left virtually blind after two thugs turned on him while he was trying to protect a woman in Spain.
Ronald Buck went to the aid of the female as she was being assaulted, only to end up in intensive care after being repeatedly kicked in the head while he lay unconscious on the ground.
The 53-year-old has been told it is unlikely he will ever be able to see out of his left eye again following the cowardly attack.
