TWO casualties have been taken to hospital with back injuries today after two cars crashed in Suffolk.

Emergency crews were called to the A134 at Newton at 6.15pm and two men had to be cut free by firefighters.

One was taken to West Suffolk Hospital, in Bury St Edmunds, and the other was taken to Colchester General Hospital.

The road was blocked and police set up diversions.
