FIREFIGHTERS were called to blazing gorse land in the north of Suffolk today.

Scorching weather sparked flames over a 500 square metre patch of land at Red Lodge, near Mildenhall.

Scorching weather sparked flames over a 500 square metre patch of land at Red Lodge, near Mildenhall.

It took one jet twenty minutes to control the blaze at 12.25 today.
